Location: Cohasset, MN |
I spent a couple days on LOTW last week with the family and rented a boat from the lodge we stayed at. The boat had no navigation lights which made me illegal when the sun went down. Just thought I'd mention that to anyone else that might find themselves in a similar (frustrating) situation. Is there any such thing as portable navigation lights ? BTW, finally caught a 27 incher (on a jackpot) on the "last cast" of the second evening. Made me feel a whole lot better in a big hurry.
|

Location: Indianapolis, IN | Yes, you can purchase temporary running lights! Exactly where, I'm not so sure! I would try to get a copy of Cabela's marine catalog! The portable lights I have seen come with a c clamp attached! You tighten them down and run your wire leads to your battery! Very simple! Good luck finding them!

| Cabela's sells LED portables, long battery and bulb life. I use them on my row trolling rig and I think they were worth the extra money. |
