Which bait has been hot for you this year? For me its been the "Mugambo Combo" orange blade black hair, black rubber. However Im getting alot of short strikes, their hitting just rubber tail. Anybody else encounter this with this bait?

We absolutely slayed the skees on the 'Pearson Grinder' on the woods. In fact one Grinder caught us 10 muskies biggest being 50.5

1 oz black and orange with a copper blade.

The Pace Maker has also been hot.

I would second the Mepps Marabou. That is one of the baits that has lived up to the hype.
Joel Wick creepers did well for us on LOTW.

Most of the fish in my boat this year have come on a white Magic Maker or on a Silver perch Shallow invader.

9" Red Perch ,unweighted Sledge has boated my ONLY fish, a 34"er from Leesville lake in Ohio with Mikie.

Come to think of it , it was my most productive bait on the outing to Sabaskong Bay last Aug.
Want to guess who I got the bait from??
Thanks Mikie, great bait!!

CJs Spinnerbaits, Topraiders, Wiley's Jointed Crank, and Grandmas have been the ticket so far this year.
