Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Just got married this weekend (yes she fishes musky too. Doesn't your wife?), and God bless our guests. They gave us mosty money, and gift cards to Gander, Sheels, Fleet, etc. The wife looked at me with an adoring look in her beautiful blue eyes and said "Honey, we need to use some of this on a new trolling motor". So, now that I've made you all entirely gealous, I have a favor to ask of you. I'm needing a bow mount, under 4 c-notes (preferably). 12 or 24 volt. I had made a mount several years back that bolted to the bow, and I ran a transom mount up front. I am not brand loyal to my current one, so all imput would be apreciated. Now that the wedding is over with, we are happy that we will have more time to get some fishing done. Thanx everybody! ![]() ![]()

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | Well Ladies and Liars, We bought a Minn kota Power drive 40, with a 48" shaft, and installed it on my 16'. Installation was easy. We went out and fished big waves on Butte for walleyes Saturday morning, and Saturday night we night-fished Muskys (location a secret, unless you also saw a yellow Hummer stuck in the lake). Went through MAYBE 25% of the battery, and 40 pounds of thrust was VERY adequate to move my boat. The long cable gave my wife and my son both to also have an opportunity to run the motor. WE @#$%EN LOVE THIS MOTOR! Muskynightmare custom musky baits
