I have heard that it is easy to do in January through March, but increasingly difficult during the rest of the year. A good snowmobile can be quite effective during the easier time!

I knew what you meant but was trying to be cordial + allow others to answer first! I haven't heard that but did here that some scientists tried to explain the crossing of the Red Sea in biblical times.....they said the Israelites ran across the backs of migrating sea turtles that had stacked up at one end....NO JOKE!! Even I wasn't dumb enough to believe that......[:sun:]

"scientists said they rode on turtles backs" How the heck do they know this crap? If scientists can't find an explanation for something, they make one up.

Most Old Indian Tales are made up by White Guys with BIg Imaginations...most old Indians still live in India, I think...[] [] [] [] [] [] [] []

Wouldn't try to walk acrooss Mille Lacs, no matter what the deal...big waves, and as everyone that has heard my Psch of Fishing talk knows, waves on the water make the wind blow!

Said today in a Supermarket tabloid...'Leaping Turtles Invade the US!!' Showed a pic of a terrified lady with a turtle latched on to her midriff...True, really. It is true![:(]

Steve....she had TWO turtles attached to her....since I read stuff until caught at the office when it comes in I was able to check it out good....what beats all is they were described as "snappers" when actually they were sea turtles....check out their flippers....other than that it really was a true story![:0] [:sun:]
