Hello guys/gals. I know this is probably quite a juvinile question for ya'll, but i need to replace the tip top on my Lamiglas GC 6108. So, when i measure by the 64th of an inch, am i measuring the hole of the tiptop? or am i measureing how big the tip of my rod is w/o a topper guide on it?
I assume i am measuring the diameter of the circle my rod tip fits into of the tiptop? if anyone can post and help a fisherman out, i'd appreciate it. thanks

Diameter of the blank at the tip in 64ths is what you want...

Doesn't have to be precise either.
Glue will fill it in if you are off a little
