| I have been reading alot of anglers seasons results and many have mentioned the events of September 11th. I have been talking to the great people at The Leary Firefighters Foundation who have established a separate fund, "The Leary Firefighters Foundation Fund for New York's Bravest,". They give money to the families of the victims. I am not asking for a monetary donation but thought that we may give something back to the firefighters. A relaxing day fishing with some of you who read these boards or a discount for firefighters. Let me know what you think and I will organise it with the foundation.
Check out thier website at http://www.learyfirefighters.com/
and email me if you are interested. Thank you! |

| Being a Firefighter/Paramedic myself I would love to help my brothers in the fire service anyway I can. |

| Being a Firefighter/Emt I would also like to help. Keep us informed.

| I'll tell you what. As a professional firefighter/emt/haz-mat tech for the City of Rhinelander and Oneida County and a muskie guide, here's what I'll do.
You can tell the foundation that I'll donate one full day of muskie fishing for one of the New York firefighters and a friend that wants to come to Wisconsin next season.
I'd also be willing to auction off one of my custom muskie rods with all proceeds going to International Association of FireFighters 9-11 fund.
It's a 7', medium heavy action SC3 St. Croix blank, fast taper, fast action with plenty of backbone. Premium cork, Fuji reel seat, eyes designed for superlines, it's a quality rod. This would make an ideal Christmas gift and the money would all go to the Internation Association of FireFighters. The rod is valued at $200.
Do I have a bid?
