Hello fellow hunters. I'm taking a trip to Kinkaid on Thursday of next week and will be fishing through Saturday. Anyone been having any luck out there lately. I'd be interested in what they are chasing or eating. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Jerry,
Wow! I knew I've been missing some action. The only fishing I've had time to do lately was out at a friend's lake, and we lost a spawning bass that looked between 6-8 right at the boat on top water. No mattter the size, what a blast! Anyhow, you gotta speak english for these guys, "100's and 200's", and all...they don't know that means 12-15 feet do they? Frankly, I'd spend time on those breaks, but the thermocline hasn't settled in yet. Buck says the BIGGEST muskies will be on the deepest breaks, adn I intend to fish them this year. I've hooked and caught nice bass and lost some nice musky below the thermocline, so I've not counted it out just yet. Also, I'm telling you, take a big long musky rod, put a bait on that can handle extreme speeds, and jam that sucker up against the bank, no more than 10 feet back, and troll at speeds between 6-10 mph. New frontiers, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you give this a try in checking depth and speed, plus the strikes are the most bone-jarring I've ever experienced. I recommend a shad rap, jake, the bass pro lures, or an 800 spoonplug. Good luck to you all, and I hope I can get out within the next two weeks.
Sincerly, Cory P. Allen "Tubakka"
P.S. How big were those fish Jerry? I wanna get one on the wall this year, so at least 48"....well, before I die at least, hehe.

They were all under the 40lbs range so No wall mounters. Don't you know most of these guys at least "publicly" just freak when anyone utters a word of hanging one, you bad boy!

Over 700 caught and have never kept one yet, so stay off my case!

Cory last Friday I got into the walleyes up this way, 26 in 26 casts and 42 over all. I think I had en in a frenzy!
