| Just an FYI for those who are looking to get some time in on the chain. I heard on the radio today (5/18) the Fox CHain has gone to no wake. Could be fun!!! |

Location: oswego, il | I fished it like that a few years ago. Nice not to have any boats out there. Be aware though, the people who own property in the channels will be watching you very closely. Even so much as a ripple and they will be screaming at you. Been there.
It was really windy that day too. We were out on marie and there were 2ft+ waves. Some guy was going across marie making a wake but not at full speed and some guy was chasing him and making runs at his boat. I wonder how he felt about the waves? |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | Dave - Do you remember the year when the chain was no-wake for a couple weeks? I think it was 1999. The fishing was great that time and the weeds were excellent. I don't care for all the lightning related to the rain we are getting but the no-wake is welcome to stay for a while
For those that care, you can get current boating restriction information about the chain at:

| I think some said it was the best muskie fishing they had seen on the Chain. No speed boats is VERY nice and the weeds dont get chopped up. AHHHH one can dream of full time no wake. |
