Does anyone know of any lakes near PAW PAW or Kalamzoo to fish for muskie. This would be a great help since I am going to a private lake on June 14-20 but the lake does not have muskie in it. If you know of a lake let me know. I heard Gull Lake is a Large Lake up there but any muskie. Give me a hand.

Thanks,
Pgaschulz

Sure, just go ahead and ignor me.

I fish Bankson at least twice a week. Send me a e-mail with questions. Um, sure, I'll guide you. For........let's see....since you shunned my first offer, I'll double my price - to a twelve pack of Bud.

Ranger will be prepared. We'll meet at the lake. Dircetions to Bankson......

1. Go south through Lawton on M-40 about 5 miles.

2. Look for a small concrete manufacturing plant on your left hand side. Located on the intersection of M-40 and 80th street, 80th T's from the east into M-40 there, not a 4 way. They make septic tanks, many big square concrete septic tanks are sitting around in the yard. It's all by itself, no other businsess north or south.

3. Take a left (east) on 80th, a dirt road for a while that turns to pavement. The lake access is on 80th Steet, about 4-5 miles from M-40. Access and lake will be on the right.

That's about it. I have a blue Ford F150 Extended Cab with a topper, Grateful Dead and MuskieFirst Stickers. My boat is a light blue 14' alum semi deep V with a merc on the back. I'll almost surely beat you to the lake and be ready to go. If there, I'll be fishing just off the access watching for you. We'll plan to fish the edges of the deep weed lines, and the open water just beyond. Bring baits as desired. Looking forward to showing you around the lake.

Well you should have a good time there it is a DNR brood stock lake. They pulled all the fish out of Murphy several years ago and put them in Bankson. I saw a couple of the fish that they took out of Murphy and they were over 30 pounds. Bob Brunner Sr. Let it Go Let it Grow.
