Saw this posted on another board and wondered...

Since I know quite a few of us here like to tinker with baits, if they were offered, would you buy--or have any interest in--fully assembled lures...unpainted, so that you could paint them to your preferences?

Just curious,

I have a few ideas on paint jobs that would be very ugly, but I would love to see if they catch anything. I would love to get some blank baits.

I could be interested too. I know the triple d was offered in an umpainted version at the sport shows last winter.

Yep, interested so long as the baits have great action.

I am also interested. Does anyone know if those blanks are the real McCoy or are they typically "Factory 2nd's"? Anyone that tinkers with baits can more than likley solve the "2nd" problems if that is the case. Just curious..

I wouldn't paint it myself, but with guys like Mike(MRG) and Stan Durst around I think it might be a good idea..

Capt. Bigfish-

I was exploring the option of listing our Globes as a kit or blanks with hardware.

Kevin-

Our baits are available from Durst. I think he still has a few blanks left.
