Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | I was there on Sunday. We raised 2 fish, caught a couple of pike, and missed a good fish on a sucker. (partner operator error) The weeds are still pretty low, but the water temps were from 55-58 degrees.

| I was out on Silver on Sat. Didn't see a Muskie. Had a strike but think it was a pike. We talked to a couple people on the lake and it seemed like nobody was doing much. Cloud patterns out on Silver were strange and wind direction changed at least 3 times. | |||

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Silver is starting to warm up quite a bit in some areas. I was out on Thursday, and the temps were from 58-62, and the weeds are starting to fill in in some areas. We raised 4 fish that day, had one chasing a sucker, and had a 48"class fish miss my undertaker 2 times in the same cast. Little Tuffy had a fish blow up on a Hawg Wobbler as well. We moved fish on everything we threw. (just about). Went out on Sunday as well for a half our, and popped the first ski of the year at 38"s. My new net is fianlly slimed!!!!! The water temps are still getting warmer by the day. The areas I was fishing were around 63 degrees. I will try to keep y'all up to date. Edited by tuffy1 5/11/2004 2:35 PM

Posts: 57 Location: Racine WI | Spent Saturday 6 am -- 3 pm and saw nothing, neither in my boat nor watching others. One guy said he had a fish blow up his topwater on the first cast of the day (midday). Too right, the weather was weird and changing.

| Was there Saturday from about 11 to 5, and the weather was very goofy and as mentioned above the wind direction did change three times. My partner caught a mini musky but that was it | |||

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Was out 2 weeks ago with JohnMD, and we raised 6 fish. One was decent (over 40) the rest were all low to mid 30s. The cold front that came through didn't help. If I could have found some worth while suckers, things could have been better. Does anyone know if they shut Silver down with all the rain? It sounds like there is alot of water in the yards from the lake.
