I recieved a bottle of this sent from the man him self before the Cave Run tournament.
He asked me to try it and it works !!!
Saturday at the Cave we caught 11 Bass and 3 Muskies during tournament hours.
I think he might have regretted it because we were in 2nd by the end of the day. Day two was 3 bass and a shorty Muskie.
6th place finish for the tournament.
I might use this new sent more often.

They have different fish oils, paste, sauce, butter, all kinds of products. Trout flavor, anise, sardine, ..etc
How often did you have to re-apply it? Most guys scoff at scent as a musky method but I love experimenting and any small percentage of increased chances , well, why not. I did learn last summer not to add any oily scent to Maribou, it makes a sticky mess out of it. I had a spoon with hackles and a small bit of maribou off the back. I glued a small piece of sponge, not the Sponge from this board, to the back side of the spoon to dispurse the scent slower and hold a lot more than a bare spoon. I also stuffed a chunk of sponge inside a tiger tube but never tried it yet. |
