Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | I started trolling for musky last year and am wondering if the Legend Plow non jointed is worth the $$$. I saw a nice fish caught on a jointed model in dark/dirty water but thought about picking up a few non jointed for clear water.
What are the top trolling baits on St. Clair? |

Location: Holly, MI | There are probably more Believer/Swim Whizz lures out there than anything else because of cost and availability.
The Terminators, Lokes, and Wileys would take over if they were more available and not $20-$25 each. I have some of all of the above except the Lokes so far. I also made a bunch this winter copying the Terminator/Wiley jointed 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 inch. Drifters Stalker is pretty much like the above also and is priced very good. I have caught fish on them but the fish seem to like (or my confidence is in) the wood lures. There is also one made on the shore of Lake St Clair in Canada called a Woodie. It has good reports too. They all will troll at very high speeds if you want. Run them in the wash, out rods and on planer boards. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | The plows can dredge a new channel in St-Clair LOL The only reason none as used there is because St-Clair is a shallow water body and the plows are deep divers. If you want a lure to run 15 to 30+ feet and catch big fish the plows are it. |
