It's the only 2 piece 7' and/or 7'6" MH rod I can find these days. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I certainly CAN answer that! I have ( wait, I better go count) 22 of the Aurora models in Muskie and Walleye sticks. In fact, I just sent a check off for $100 for an 8' model (see the Buy, Sell, Trade board) because I gave away my last one. The idea was a good rod at a great price. Aurora IS out of business. I am currently searching for the builder, so I can order the rods myself. |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I have two 7'6" (one piece and a two piece) and an 8'er. I use the 7'6"ers for trolling and suckers, because I personally would like to see a longer handle on them (I have complained to the designer already) but the 8'er is my go-to rod for jerkbaits. I like a heavy rod, with little flex in the tip for working gliders and choppers, while having a long handle and the length of the 8'er overall.....unless I have another custom rod made, no one makes a rod that fits what this rod will do. Yes I work for Steve Worrall, and I openly admit that I use custom diamonbacks, Loomis, Lamiglas and even a St. Croix, but for what I want a jerkbait rod to do, I haven't found one that will out perform the 8' Aurora. If you like a longer rod, with a longer handle, that can handle the biggest of stuff, find an 8' Aurora, you wont regret it. |

| And perhaps you may young Jedi...I happen to have one(8') complete w/ a cordura carrying case resting in me laundry room as we speak! Has enough backside to dislocate a tail bone on a hookset, yet gentle enough to double as a "spouse corrector", plus pleasing to look at...may be willing to part w/ said item as it sees little usage these days, but that decision is something I need to mull over...in a laundry room far far away... |
