Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | I just got an email from my neighbor up in Land O Lakes......still 15-18" of ice with 6" of slush on top of that. With the 10 day forecast looking at snow almost every day and highs in the upper 30's to mid 40's.....My prediction is April 27th.
Any guesses? |

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Oh, my. I looked at weather.com again today and it's bleek. I think I'm going to go with the 30th and my chainsaw!
I remember about 3 years ago, As I was waist deep in water putting in my pier, I watched the ice go out .....it was like a submarine going under. That was the night before the opener.
If anybody is heading up for the walleye opener and there's ice, maybe we'll have a fisheree!
