Posts: 7115 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | My partner for the weekend had some family issues to attend to this weekend, so I'm hitting it alone tomorrow. The plan of attack is to fish the DEEP water of Tippecanoe (hoping to keep the boat in 25ft.+ all day) and maybe run some meat at boatside. Anyone interested in sharing the water in the 1690? Guide fee is a pack of marlboro menthol lights, a cup of coffee and maybe 3 suckers. Anyone? Anyone? Planning on being at the launch by 6:30AM Chicago time. Email ([email protected]) or call (847/989-9271) if interested.

Posts: 7115 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | That is my cell number, give me a call tonight if you're going to be able to make it. If I dont hear from anyone Sam (my 100lb lab) is coming with and he takes up a good amount of space on the boat.

Posts: 544 Location: Alsip, Il | Slamr, How did you do on Tippy. Matt and I did zero. We were part of the Webster Ice Out outing, it was cold and windy. Only 5 fish caught out of 85 participants with the biggest being 33 inches, I believe all the fish caught were from the Barbee Chain. Congradulations to the Michigan Alliance for winning the traveling trophy. Al

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I was on Tippe Sat too. It SUCKED! Wind made it brutal to try to hold a position later in the day so we bailed and went to the chain. Didn't see a single fish on either system. Slamr sallied out early due to the wind.

Posts: 7115 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I got the donut on TJ, as usual on there for me. Moved a 40" and about a 32" or so, had the suckers run a few times, but that was about it. The wind pretty much destroyed all my game plans by about 11:30AM, but I stuck it out til about 3PM. But as pennance for my wanting to leave early, I waited an hour for all the bass tourney boys to pull their boats out. If that wind hadn't been howling I think I would have had some better shots, but only getting 2 casts on 50yard spots because I was blowing so fast just wasnt condusive to fish catching. And Luke, at least I saw some fish.
