I was looking at some japanese power handles at hatteras outfitters. My question is would these handles give me more line pickup?I have this reel on my jerkbait rod.Sometimes I feel like I can't keep up with my baits.I was also thinking about swapping out the gears for 6.3:1, what do ya guys think?what would be my best option?

A power handle only gives you a small leverage advantage when cranking. No difference in line pickup. I find the power handles more comfortable to crank in my hands. As for the higher gear ratio, you will gain speed but lose torque (power). Could be an issue if you need to move a bait with lots of water resistance quickly. I would get the power handle and leave the gear ratio alone.

I just added a power handle to my c4 and it now becomes my second winch to go with my c3 7000 super winch
