What is everyone using for lure storage these days? Big boxes? 3700's? Integrated storage?

3700s for most everything... even rubber up to pounder size. Big hard baits go in the Plano Big Game box. Spinnerbaits go in a Lakewood spinnerbait box.

Pencil cases and other big craft containers. Also I buy big pieces of foam and hang them on it so they don’t tangle together. .

I'm going to look into those. Never heard of them before.

You'll save yourself a fortune if you buy a milk crate or two and fill it with down spout sections.. others have used a soft tackle box and filled it with them as well. Plenty of tutorials online about how to do it.

I just bought a 27 gallon tote and lid from walmart and drilled out holes on the brim to hang big baits in. Great for packing on trips and what not

I tried the milk crate, down spout thing one time. A good concept but awkward and I want something fully enclosed. Not sure I have a bag or anything big enough to put the down spout pieces in.

Do you make use of the open interior space?

A suggestion on here was to buy a large food delivery bag from amazon. I did so and then used down spout material to hold lures. Very deep , with carrying strap and double zipper. I put all my big rubber baits and oversized cranks in there. Worked well.
Bag is 23"W x 15" High x 14" Deep. I bought 3 years ago but price is still only $23. Waterproof liner. About $10 worth of down spout and small zip ties to hold them together.

Great idea for a bag.

Again, it was an idea from a poster on here. And that cheap bag beats the milk crate all to heck. I used the down spout pieces from my milk crate to start filling the bag.

As of now I just put extra plano 3700s in the center but there are all sorts of options for that space

Just encase. It wasn't just the storage, but also that I had a narrow back casting deck due to a smaller boat. I foot pedal from the back deck so I can track my contours on the console. Best 2 birds 1 stone ever.
