Next Meeting
APRIL 8, 2025

Speaker: Scott Kleinschmidt
Casual Dinner 5-7 pm - Meeting 7 pm

Scott Kleinschmidt started Musky Safari lures in 2002. He is going to bring LOTS of lures of different types, describe fishing methods for each lure, and give a glimpse into the designs that define a successful bait maker.

Scott has twice won the Chicago Muskie Show's lure of the year contest. He has several patents pending for innovations. Musky Safari lures are available at major sports retailers, big box stores and bait shops. Note that Musky Safari lures are reasonably priced, with many around $20 and the most expensive one is $80.

We will be meeting at Sweeney's Saloon, 96 Dale Street North, St. Paul. Come around 5 pm and join fellow anglers in Ashland Room next to the bar if you want to enjoy appetizers or a meal beforehand. You do not have to be a Muskies Inc member to attend.

Kevin from Frankie's Bait and Marine is in the Board of Directors of #MN Fish. As you may know, there is going to be a 3 year study of Muskie movements in Leech Lake in cooperation with Bemidji State University. Reeds's has provided financing for the first year to get the project going. Kevin will begin the evening with a short presentation of the project.
