This poor lure started off as an experiment with embedding a very fine mesh over a cloth body. Unfortunately the result was so dreadful that I had to sand it all off and start over. Experiment #2 was to try foil on foil. The first foil went down fine, but after applying a protective coat of epoxy I had hoped to use super glue to apply hot foil down in a narrow line pattern. Unfortunately the super glue I was using was low viscosity super thin and it ran all over the epoxy surface and instead of narrow lines I basically got blobs. Life is never easy for the home hobbyist.

I would bet that thing reflects light in a unique way when fished in sunlight.
