I will be attempting to spend sometime chasing muskies on a cisco lakes. I understand they move to gravel bars when the temps hit around 45 degrees. My question is, is it bars only or do they move to gravel shorelines also? If there are weeds near the area or scattered on the bar or shoreline, is this a detriment or do they still move into these areas?

Yes, the Cisco's will spawn on gravel shorelines (they did this on the gravel in front of my grandparents place). and there is a weed bed front of there old place too.

They can and will spawn close to weeds as well. Some lakes with ciscos are completely surrounded by weed shorelines and reefs, leaving them nowhere else to go. Using electronics makes it easy to find these big schools of bait in late fall.
