| I bought this Boat to Trailer contraption a couple years ago at the sports show. I just finally installed it a couple weeks ago.
The problem I have is that the boat bow eye (or whatever it's called) is barely big enough to handle the clip from the contraption and the hook from the crank/safety chain.
I have to really work at it to get the clip on the bow eye.
I have a Ranger 620 and I don't know if the bow eye is the same or smaller than other boats, but I don't know that I'm going to be able to use this device long term.
Does anyone else have experience with Boat to Trailer and can offer any tips or tricks?

Location: SW Ohio | I have the Drotto version on my Skeeter. I can get both the winch strap hook and safety chain hook in the eye with the Drotto clamp. |

| I did unscrew the eye nuts to get more space from inside the bow ,mine is drotto

| I have the Drotto also. Which mounting holes did you guys use? I used the "most common" recommendation that was in the instructions. However, the keel of my boat is slightly off the front roller on the bottom of the trailer. It's as if the device is grabbing the hook too high to let the boat sit completely on the trailer. I may just have to try the other mounting hole to see if that helps.
Boat to Trailer emailed me back and they have a "hook adaptor" for $9.99 that looks like it solves the small bow eye issue.

Location: deephaven mn | worked fine on my 2014 620 it took a some adjusting to get the right angle to get it work perefectly. yes both hook and saftey strap worked just fine. 2022 620 was a little tighter but works |

I had the same issue with my Skeeter. Used the highest bolt hole position to lower the mount but my bow was still raised. I drilled another set of holes to set the bracket a bit lower. That helped some. Not much room for modification.

| I have the Boat2Trailer on my Ranger 619. I have the same issue. I can get the safety chain on, barely. The big strap is a "no-go". I'll check out that attachment. But, so far I've just used the B2T latch with the safety chain. No issues. |
