Location: Northern Illinois | I'm wondering why no one seems to make a yellow bladed bucktail. Certainly, have many with yellow tails, but hardly ever (if at all) see a yellow bladed bucktail. Obviously, there are many chartreuse bladed bucktails, just not pure yellow. |

| I think they would work!, many bait makers only take the time to make the basic colors and call it good. I'll have paint up one or two blades (yellow) and see how they look in the water. |

| Yellow/Chartreuse are the same blade color from the manufacturers.
Yellow/Chartreuse blades, white and silver skirt works. I've made myself several sizes and different blade configurations of this combo. |

Location: Northern Illinois | Chartreuse is a mixture of yellow and green. I'm talkin' pure yellow.

Location: Long Prairie, Minnesota | When Operation Muskie was in its first couple of years, I would poll the guides every year and ask them what their favorite bucktail colors were. One of the guides, who is a pretty big name in the LOTW world, said his favorite was Chart/Yellow blades over a brown hair skirt. I built one, and he knew what he was talking about. Caught a lot of fish up there with that color combo. |
