That could very well be where I got it from. It certainly wasn't something I invented.. There's all sorts of little tweaks and mods out there if one cares to dig around the interweb. |

I never did find the Turgeon article, but did manage to find this, with a link or two to other posts, and a mention of the Turgeon piece.

Location: NorthCentral WI | Am I the only one who doesn't see this mod necessary? I have caught a lot of fish on shallow invaders over the years and never modified a single one. I've never had a problem with hook ups or losing fish, so I just don't see the point. |

My reason for modifying was not hook ups, but the constant tangling of the rear with the front hook. |
