I was thinking about putting yet another post in the FFS is the End Times thread, but then thought maybe something more positive would be....positive?

So I turn 30 (again and for the 20th time) the first weekend in June. Looking for a get away where I can....

-muskie fish with a relatively good chance at something over 45"
-able to use big boat on bigger water, kayaks on rivers or small lakes
-good smallie fishing (esp in rivers)

Within 7 hours of the greater Chicagoland area.

Thoughts or where to look?

I can't just invite myself.

Pretty darn possible if you just head north and stop driving in 7 hours, but you already knew that.
