With Spring now here for some and only a few weeks away for us all, it's time to srart a trip check every week. I know some of the guys are hitting the Cave, and some heading off in other directions. I am at the Muskie School sponsored by the Madison Chapter MI this weekend. Who's fishing?

I will be fishing if the rain doesn't do too much damage to the local rivers. I've been out for 3 weeks now, as a collective group, we've got 4 fish, nothing big, the biggest 37, and a blank for me. I lost one on Sunday. Crossing my fingers that I get another shot before the PA season closes. If I don't, then bring on the cave.

Wading the Fox River in N. Illinois. Some big fish have been taken lately. I know of one guy who got a 45 and 46 last Saturday.

Check it out and call us.

You can donate some $$$ and give us a hard time, maybe even get us to do something stupid on TV for a good donation.

Its for a good cause !!!

South to soft water. Anywhere I dont care. Im getting very tired of ICE. ICE sucks, realy realy sucks cuz my lures dont get deep enough. Also very hard to see fallows.
Thank god I only have to wait 9 more days.

I am going to the green bay show. Getting map and lake info from mike mladinek is worth that trip alone. Running into the kopke brothers is alright too. On the way home I will stop at the gander mountain show in sheboygan.

Raze told me he's fishing Salt Fork this weekend, I hope he gets bit. I'm taking the Gambler out to shake out the winterizer and make sure everything works, but it will be at an idle speed only lake. AARRGGHH! I know my sentence in Hell will be to idle a Merc 225 endlessly over big water. It could be worse, for sure. m

last ice for big pike. My favortite week of ice fishing has arrived in WI. Nice also, cause the beer doesn't freeze anymore when left outside. I'm out of Venison Brats, so I may have to invite a friend who hunts this weekend for provisions. If it gets too warm, the Steelhead will be moving on up too, and the tipups will saddly be basemented.

Working on the Magna his weekend. I'm doing some modifications to the rod locker and I just got my wheels and brake drums blasted and painted. Replaced the sealsand bearings and pulled her home from the farm this week. My wife wasn't real happy to see it in the driveway already but what's a guy to do, eh?

Reef Hawg,

Where is big pike still open? I have some venison hot dogs to pick up on Saturday in Eden, and mom-in-law is in Adams. I could pay here a visit, maybe 5 minutes worth before I crash for the night. LOL
