It doesn’t look like much but there’s always fish there.

That I believe, great area. I think I fished that years ago.

That island is gold! Caught plenty of fish on there.

I've heard rumors about some of the big fish the owners have caught off the dock over the years.

That rock on the SW corner always sneaks up on me. I get a little 'too close', but have pulled several fish off of it.

my son, who is now 26, caught his first one off that island in about 2009. long story but the fish hit about 30' out, came unpinned, bucktail flies out of the water and over his head, lands on other side of boat, he reels up and i told him to get the bait back in the water. he does his 8 and the fish hits it again.

i use a go pro now on the woods trips, i wish i had a video of that sh$% show

he still throws that bucktail btw

My son and I are making our first trip to LOTW this weekend. Staying at Mylies. Any updates on current conditions or reports would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

You don't need to go far from Mylies. If it looks good and complex more than likely it holds fish.

Heading to Mylies this Friday for a week. Have been there for 10 years except for Covid year. We're in Cabin 5 and drive a green & white Crestliner. Stop by if you have questions.
