I have most all famous fishing books from Rizzo, Bucher, Rose ECT along with Larry Ramsell's history books and add in some local books where to go or local history,
Any newer books on the market from the great Northwoods?

There are some good older ones that detail lakes done by guides. I know Mike Mladenik did a whole series about 18 years ago and I have the set.

Just ordered the Steven Paul book from R & H and found some older books on E-Bay too.
This post is off to a good start. Thanks again.

I also have a full set of fishing hot spots and fishing the north country books. Great if you fish Wisconsin. I also have a full set of sportsman's connection books for every state.

They are basically the old FHS books latest revision. Written by the same two legendary Northwoods guides. There is fact and opinion but they cover more lakes, almost all in the area they cover not selected like other book series. You get the good and bad lakes. These books are excellent for pointing you in the direction you want to go. I've found some gems using them.

It's been a while since I've fished Wisconsin but do own a lot of map books from the area.
I have Dan Small's Fish Wisconsin this is from 1990, 100 Wisconsin Fishing Trips from Wisconsin Sportsman Mag 1984, Top 50 Muskie Lakes Fishing Hot Spots 1993, Fishing Wisconsin's Northwoods and Vilas County Muskie Guide by Dave Strebig 1995 & 1998, Oneida County Muskie Guide by Russ Smith 1992, Northwest Wisconsin Fishing Guide by Mike Mladenik 1992, Org. Fishing Hot Spot Books 1-5,7,8. I don't have book six (I'm looking to buy book six I think it's Eagle River Area) FHS book for Door County is in the mail. I have all eight Fishing the North County Lake Books. Eight Sportsmen Connection Books for Minnesota and Wisconsin, Muskie The Premier Waters Of North America by Russ Warye 2002 and Muskies Maina Style By Pete Maina and FHS 2002. (this list some good places to fish too) I have fishing books, books on Supper Clubs, Bars, where to go, Local History I've spent a lot of time in the last 50 years in the Northwoods. God's Country!

I want to thank MartinTD for putting me on "Next Level Musky Fishing" book by Steven Paul.
7.62 x Jay asked for a review.
Well I've read it and here's what I think. It's well written 282 pages plus six page forward by respected Jim Stewart owner of "The Musky Shop" and the Famous "Hall Of Fame Legendary Angler" Joe Bucher and also a six page Preface by the author.
Like Tom Gelb's book "Musky Strategy" it's not a book on how to catch Muskies but takes parts of Muskie fishing in a deeper context. The chapters are Musky Structure, Tech Savvy, Reading Water, Moon Phases, Gear, Big Rubber, Dive & Rise Jerkbaits, Crankbaits, Trolling, Final Thoughts, And a Afterword by Jay at "The Musky Shop"
The Gear, Moon Phases, and Final thoughts are shorter chapters, Structure, Tech Savvy and how to work the lures are quite long and detailed. The Tech Savvy goes into how to use all the new Electrons and how to get the most out of all of them.
I highly recommend this book. I got at "The Musky Shop" See MartinTD's post above.

Eli Singer had some books that I really enjoyed. I think I have all of them. Great interviews with old guides and some good photos of days gone by. Unfortunately he passed away 10 years ago.

I have all of Eli's books (six books). Eli had some kind of medical emergency and the ambulance got in a crash on the way to the hospital.

Bill Gardner is a riot, the stuff he comes up with is great. And to top it off it's a great snap shot of Muskie fishing in Northern Wisconsin in 1980 and when he talks of earth quakes, brush fires mudslides and the Hillside Strangler it hits home for me, I was right down the 405 Freeway from him in 1980. Inspired by "Time On The Water" Bill Hamblin does "120 Days" One man's quest hunting giant Muskies on Georgian Bay. This came out in 2015.
