Subject: Tuffy Question

Hello, I'm looking at a 2018 Tuffy 2060. Originally was told the boat had a 200 Verado on it. Come to find out it's a standard 6 cyl. 4 stroke from Merc. Would the 3.4 Merc. be enough for that hull? What prop would you recommend for that combo? What kind of performance could you expect with that combo? Thanks in advance.

That motor would do a good job. Depending on load and conditions, high 40s or better. Rev 4 pitched for load is the best performer. That was probably a Fiberdome hull, great boat.

(I really don't miss that job one bit....)
