Has anyone checked out the newest version of the Calcutta conquest? Looks like it’s a 7.5:1 and has some other updates. Comes in a 300 and 400 looks like. I’ve used the original conquest and it’s an incredible reel. Anyone looked into these or think you will pick one up?

Do you have a link to view it, Shimano has last years model on their site. I've got one of those, incredibly smooth, incredible price though too.

Tackle warehouse has them on their website, looks like you can preorder and they will be available in April

Jeff, I might be wrong, but don't you have a mechanical background? Could you shed some light on why they are so much more expensive or is it just that they are made in Japan, as opposed to China? I have heard that they are incredibly smooth, just wondering what makes them tick.
