Cool video from yesterday fishing pike and bass through the ice, with enough bluegills for breakfast. Answers the question whether you can move a bait too fast. Have not seen a muskie yet, which is rare, usually see one an afternoon.

Whats faster, the Pike or Bluegills & Bass clearing out when the Pike arrives.

True that, bluegills exit so fast it seems like they just disappear.

Lots of videos out there of Pike putting the lurk on baits just like that last girl. Even with their reputation it makes me wonder how many are actually passing us up, hard or softwater.

Them smaller fish sure know how to get away for them bigger fish. Sure would hate to be a fish not paying attention.

Can't figure out how to view the video. When I click on 'Watch the Video' it takes me to Outdoors First, the title is there but no video.

can't see the video. Pike are very fast with speeds up to ~ 20/mph and cruising at 8 /mph

Can see it now

I have messed around with pike in a few situations in super clear lakes when they were acting highly aggressive. I can tell you this much they can move faster than I can reel and they can jump to hit a lure after you lift it out of the water
