Got a chance to head up this weekend, and could use a little advice. Water temps are reported to be in the low 70s, down from the upper 70s a couple weeks ago and a pretty hefty cold front is due at our ETA.

Much has been written about the mid/late fall bite, but very little on the transition period from late summer to fall.

Not looking for your secret spots or anything, just a general idea where to start..and maybe what to show 'em..

Thanks!

Have you ever tried Dewey Lake down by Prestonsburg? I'm hearing good things.
Cave's always been a mystery to me. m

It's a club outing, and quite honestly have never heard of Dewey. I'll keep it in mind.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Rubber on the weed edges works sometimes. Don' t leave your #10 blades at home. m
