Posts: 1351 | I just bring a bunch of lure that look good to me and fish. Back in the days when my dad was alive and we had his big boat we would lake jump and brought more lures. A few things we caught Muskies on Cisco colored lures in dark water that had no Cisco's. One year we stayed on a clear body of water caught a bunch of fish with a good average size and big one to boot and as far as lures go it was half Cisco and half perch. As far as the perch looking lures one was a old Grandma M9 solid (no rattles) Chart/black jailbird, I was fishing some weeds out in front of bullrushes and a Muskie come charging out of the rushes and T boned my lure. This fish came 30-40 feet to hit my lure. I had to cut all three trebles to release this fish and I was a bloody mess but happy.

Posts: 1261 | I either throw light colored lures, dark colored lures, or light and dark contrasting lures. I don't think the specifics matter as much. Water color, cloud cover, and wind conditions will help determine what I start with.
