HI-
I will be headed to Pelican (north of Antigo) soon and am wondering if someone can tell me where I can find weedbeds on this lake. The WI fishing maps books I have don’t have this lake and online the only map I could find was on the DNR site and it does not show much for weeds.

Thanks in advance,

Solid weedlines in most of the bays. Outlet, Musky, Mud, pretty much all. The stones on the East end, center bar, and around Antigo Island have zero. Weeds run out into as much as 13'. Some weeds on the North Shore from Sabanois point east.

Another on the west end off Q. Costs 2 bucks. Handy if there's a strong north or northwest wind.

Thanks guys.. there are some ramps shown on the Navionics app that are private, or even non existent. Those two were were pretty easy to pinpoint on Google Maps .. I'd be willing to bet it doesn't take long for Pelican to get a bit rough when the wind starts blowing..

My fishing map shows that Pelican lake has two locations where artificial fish attractors were installed. If you are gong boat fishing I would recommend scouting shallows around those locations.
Would share an image/link but it doesn't let me.

I think someone dropped in a couple Livingston Bullets in those 2 areas…;)
