As far as what areas may hold musky...Wondering if anyone can tell me which boat ramp is best to use to avoid alot of travel due to hazards i've heard are in the Gile flowage. Would love to just launch the boat, drop the trolling motor and start casting. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Jaimy

Based on your post I would use the one on the north end in Gile.

Location: Western U.P.
For this time of year, the boat launch on Hwy C (East side), and head West from there, casting shorelines, rock islands, and flats. Throw a few casts by the culvert that goes under Hwy C before you head West, as there is usually a good current flowing thru it.
