Fished yesterday.

Thrown off by the extreme water clarity for sure. Spent time trying absolutely everything. Bucktails and topwater over weeds. Rubber along weed edges. Trolled fairly deep. Fished the really thick weeds as well. Felt like we gave everything a shot.

Fished till about 9:30pm did not see a single fish the entire time until catching a <30 on topwater in a shallow bay.

I realize it’s Muskie fishing on a super clear lake. Any big secrets I’m missing or strategies I should try? Minus night fishing.

I used to fish it often and never did very well until september. That said, keep plugging away. The fishy looking spots hold fish and I caught fish on big blades and topwater. Fishing has been pretty slow for me elsewhere the last 3 days. Better weather on the way.
