Location: Three Lakes, Wisconsin | Does anyone recommend the new generation abu garcia toro beast in a 4.9:1? I primarily use daiwa and shimano but willing to try something new. |

Location: Brighton CO. | I'm a older guy I caught my first Muskie on Sunday July 17 1977 with my Grandma's Ambassadeur 5000 (holly crap it's going to be 45 years ago this Sunday) Then in 1979 I bought 5500 C and is still going I have it on a jig rod along with some 7000's from the mid to late 90's all these reels have the old dual cast control knob. In the early 1990's I bought 6000C and 6500 C3 and trashed these reel's in no time. In 2003 my dad caught a very large Muskie on a 5600 and the fish tore up his reel. I have Abu Garcia Morrum 5600 C and a Morrum 6600 C tighter then the Shimano 400 B with I fished with at the time, but 6600 had a little tick when I reeled . I fish with Shimano Tranx and System 13 reel's now. |

| I have the t2 toro beast in the 4.9 to 1. Use it for the bigger bucktails, slower moving topwater, and crank baits. Does what I want it to do with no issues. Kdawg |

Location: E. Tenn | I had both a Revo Toro Winch, and a Revo Toro HS, not too long ago.. I just found it a lot easier to slow down the HS, rather than crank the heck out of the Winch..
JMHO..
