Location: Cheyenne, WY most of the year | Just used my Tranx 400 lefty for the first time since getting it serviced. (Ontario opener) and noticed that the drag is not working right. It seems to be backward, i.e. if it is rotated clockwise, it becomes extremely loose. I currently have it tightened down the opposite direction, and it still let's line out when pulled with medium force. Anyone experienced this before? Thanks! |

Location: Minnesota | Can't say I have experienced that with either of my Tranx reels. I've also never heard of that issue before. Was it that way before getting it serviced, or did you notice it after getting it back? |

Location: SE, WI. | Do you have your super line taped down on spool. Electrical tape works. The entire spool of line will rotate on spool, and gives operator the sense of drag not working. Or, do you have some mono backing? That will help also…. JD |
