I am considering buying a Solera 189. Opinion? Likes/dislikes from those of you who have fished out of one?
Thx in advance

For skiing and recreation over fishing, the Solara would be a great boat imo. If you want to be set up more for fishing, the WX 1910 is an awesome fishing boat. You can get a ski pylon etc. for the 1910 as well.

In my opinion, fish and ski boats almost always lean more to recreation than fishing. Rod lockers are usually the first thing they sacrifice. Most fishing boats can double as weekend family rigs, but most ski boats don’t suffice for true fishing boats
