| I'll find out tomorrow. Chose to get chores out of the way today, so that I can fish tomorrow morning and take a nap afterward. Swapped out the snow thrower off of the lawn tractor, got the chain saw out to chop up a 30 foot limb as big around as my waist, that came down in the storm the other night. Ran the gas out of the generator after firing it up due to 15 hours without power. Swept out the garage and rinsed out all the salt. Did two loads of laundry and cleaned the kitchen and living room. Tomorrow is all about fishing, drinking beer and watching baseball and golf. |

Location: Walker, MN | Far fewer bites for my boat than a typical opener. Four 18"-19" inch walleyes and one 25". A dozen small pike and one smallmouth. Crush 'em tomorrow. |

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota | I spent the weekend on vermilion and those were the worst waves I have seen in my life fishing there. I was way in the back of Norwegian bay and decided to drive back to head o lakes during the peak of the wind. There were easily 4-5ft whitecaps with Norwegian bay being pretty much a wind tunnel. I was in an aluminum ranger 1882 and amazed how well that thing handled the waves for being an aluminum boat. I will say that’s the closest I’ve ever been to being genuinely scared driving a boat. I know for a bit there was sustained 35mph winds by us and who knows how bad of gusts. Water was so high I was parking the boat in the middle of my parents yard. |

| Went out Sunday morning for about three hours on the neighborhood lake. Couple of 15 inch walleyes and a half dozen crappies. Had fun using a little x-rap for the crappies. Never used one of those on crappies before. Pleasantly surprised how effective it was. Went home and cracked a beer and napped to baseball and golf the rest of the day. |
