| One project I'd like to make happen would be to make a lure/tool holder that fits at the base of my pedestal seat. I've toyed with the idea of measuring the widths of some of my baits and then buying PVC tubes to match the diameters and then arange them in a circle. The problem I've heard is that they can sometimes be a pain in the you-know-what while trying to move around them. Any suggestions from those who have made their own? Thanks much! |

Location: Athens, Ohio | This is low tech, and low cost, but hey it works for me. Me wife gets the gallon pails from work, they held peanut butter and marshmallow creme. Drill a hole for the seat post and a couple small holes for drainage, notch the sucker and off you go. Look at the seat behind the driver. m

Location: Holly, MI | Last year I bought this pvc rod holder that attached to the post of the pedestal seat. Seemed like a great spot to keep a backup rod for a quick change up or a toss back lure. I found myself not using it as it seemed to still be in the way and swung around with the seat. I think I'll just stuff a pair of needle nose pliers or somthing in it this year. The front casting deck is never big enough for a bunch of muskie gear and your feet too. |
