Which are you guys using? I like both, but knots in big stuff make me nervous. I have not had any failures with a good double crimp, but the added hardware is just more to pick up weeds. Any ideas?

Also, is floro good for cranks and jerks? Do you still get good action from a jerkbait?

Thanks -
Luke

I also use a Tie-Fast knot tool ( http://www.tie-fast.com/knot_tyer.htm ) to tie a nail knot for flouro leaders, a drop of superglue adds security.

Greg, I just bought one of those tools. They Rock!!!! I was tying leaders all night. It took a little while to figure out what the heck I was doing, but once I did, look out. Thanks for the tip. Way easier than tying a uni-knot.

I crimp mine and then add a drop of super glue. If you place the glue in the right place it makes the leader pretty weedless (as far as leaders go anyway).
