| Does anyone have experience with the EasyTroller Trolling plate? I have a Yamaha 115, and slowest it goes just in gear is 2.8 mph. I have a drift sock, but that's not always feasible for some of the fishing I do.

Location: Pewaukee | Have you ever tried with the trolling motor down to add drag? I’ve never tried it myself, but I intend to try it this year after seeing a post about it. I’m not sure that I want a kicker. |

| So, 0.1 mph lost per bait? That would almost work for my open water striper spread down here in AR.
Backtroller, I haven't heard of that. I doubt I could lose the .8 mph needed for lead-coring walleyes though. Where did you see that thread?

| Thanks. Probably just stick with drift socks. I don't want to lose any speed of the top end anyway. |
