Has anyone tried these? Don't hear much about them.

I have a Long, a shredder, a mini, and some mini micros.
Only ever caught 1 musky on the mini.
Shredder has logged LOTS of time especially at night and has a few largemouth and pike.
Long has brought me a few musky follows and fake/short strikes from pike, nothing in the boat.
Mini micros haven't seen alot of use so no opinion there.
If your interested I'd say get 1 or 2, they're not a bad bait. Just a different tool.
They like to foul on themselves, I remedied this by electrical taping their joints a little so they can't bend 180 on themselves.

No problem. Another point I should make is that the shredder is more like a bucktail in the retrieve, on pauses it falls like an ugly rock and sometimes fouls up. The others pull-pause retrieve just fine.
