Location: Illinois-Indiana | Well I finally have my baits together and was looking for some input, negative or positive. I'm attaching a pic of a few colors of the new "Psycho Kitty". They are 9 1/2" long and are all keel weighted to keep them running true in the water. They weigh 1 3/4 ounces and hopefully will be true Musky catchers. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, Edited by Musky Fever 2/13/2004 7:46 AM Attachments ---------------- Kat Tails.JPG (22KB - 410 downloads)

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | Those are some good looking baits Ralph. I like that you have the indiana blades on them. The tails are a good addition as well. If you need a field tester, let me know. I can make sure they work on the SE WI lakes. Heh heh heh.

Posts: 1939 Location: Black Creek, WI | Hi Ralph. The baits look great. Congrats. You say you can't wait to try them out, so does that mean you have not fished with them yet or just anxious for open water? If you have not fished with them yet, I'm curious if you plan to sell them before they are perfected. Bucktails can be more finicky than expected to perfect the balance and vibe. Hopefully you've already perfected the design and don't need any "negative" advice from us "know it alls" (ha ha). A bucktail that only looks good will sell at first, but they gotta perform if you want to stay in business. But..... I'm sure you are well aware of that. So, if you need help testing them, I'd gladly help (heh heh). Congrats again and best of luck with your new baits! Edited by jlong 2/12/2004 7:00 AM

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | Kat Tails have been catching fish for years! I assume these are just a set of baits that are new colors, with a new twist. I know I have some that are a few years old, they have single hooks instead of trebles and they have feathers instead of hair. Great Lures! Ralph, those new ones look great! Steve

Location: Illinois-Indiana | Hey Steve, You mean to tell me that there is a company called Kat Tails already. I named it after my fiancee her name is Kathie, they call her Kat. It was the only way I could take over the house with ALL my junk:) I don't want to be stepping on anyones toes here, please let me know.

Posts: 2024 | Looks like a great bait! I love the tinsel and the Indiana blades. Can't wait to hear testimonials! A fellow out of Hayward, Roger Williamson, owns Cat's Tails (FYI). Great bucktails made by a great guy!

Location: Illinois-Indiana | Hey guys, Thanks for all the complimenst and the heads up on the Cat's Tails. I honestly did not know there was a company named Cat's Tails out there already or I would have never named mine Kat Tails. My fiancee came up with Psycho Kitty so I named the company after her, all her friends call her Kat since her name is Kathie. I have pulled Kat Tails until I can talk to Mr. Williamson about this matter. Again, thanks for the heads up!!!!!
