Mod V Lund with the IPS Hull, looks like a decent platform for muskies, too. 8'1" 10-rod locker.

| Can't see it in the photo here but the 1875 has pedestal seating with jump seats in the back. Basically a mod-V version of the pro V musky. This would be perfect for my fishing style and lakes, but I will be looking for something glass a bit more rec oriented in the future. |

| See that with the 1875, rod storage length increases to 9'6". Ton of casting deck space and if you get the side by side front seating option like shown on the 1775 in the original post, that would be terrific if guiding someone and showing them how to jig for walleyes, fish for crappies. Looks like a lot of boat for the money. |

| Before completing a build and adding any additional features, an 1875 Pro V Bass XS with 115 Merc is almost 13k more than an 1875 renegade with 115 Merc. Is there really that much difference in standard features on the Pro V? Or materials in the differently shaped hull? 1" difference in beam width. |

| I always thought that the mod-V aluminum bass boats got a bad rap amongst "serious fishermen". In reality, I think these boats make an excellent fishing platform for not only the bass and musky guys, but for multi species anglers, particularly those that do not fish "big water" or troll.
The deck sizes are far larger in comparison to a similar sized glass rig. Although storage is not always equal to a similar sized glass rig, it is more than adequate. In addition, they are able to get into very skinny water. And pricing is less than a comparable sized and equipped glass rig.
The recent rigs from the last few years from Ranger, Lund and others are not the Trackers from the 80's and 90's that so many think of when thinking of a mod-V bass boat. |
