I think Steve posted this just to make those of us spending the weekend doing fall chores jealous of his itinerary ;>) Next week I will be on the water but Saturday I'm helping the neighbor with his dock and lifts, then have pull mine out as well. Maybe get out for a while on Sunday after my dock helpers head home.

Location: Safe Space, MN | Not necessarily a destination as I’m out there about 95% of the time but I’ll be on the Croix off and on all weekend. Enjoy Vermillion!

Location: Athens, Ohio | Went to my favorite WV lake Thursday, the water was down 4 maybe 5 Ft. Like fishing a new lake. Raised two, saw one more, going to try to hit it again tomorrow to avoid the Ohia lakes' rains. m

Posts: 1183 | I was racking leaf's in front of our house, dark gray skies air temps in the 50's and all the tree's in the neighborhood were red, orange ,yellow and brownish. How I wished I was out on the water! I've felled like crap for a long time as it turns out there was a recall for onions due to samanilla, Got rid what I had left and i'm good now. Have some work to do around the house and maybe Thursday take a trip to the foothills and see if I can catch a Tiger shore fishing.

Location: St. Louis, MO | The water at Kincaid in So IL is finally down to 72-74 degrees so heading that way both days this weekend. The weather down here has been far too nice this fall unfortunately... Edited by jlooney 10/27/2021 8:17 PM

Location: Athens, Ohio | I got to fish 64* Ohia water yesterday and got a 40 for my troubles. Raised another one right at the boat who jumped over my bucktail as I was bringing it up and around for an 8. Good fish. m

Posts: 20179 Location: oswego, il | Up in the Manitowish Waters area, got 3 yesterday, my partner has wiffed 3 times today on a sucker. Nothing big but it's nice to be up here. in a group of nine so far we are the only ones with fish. The early afternoon minor (pun intended) seems to be yeilding the most action. Posts: 32788 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Good to see some fish caught! We did well at AML overall, although I didn't boat a muskie. The sucker bite was off considerably with water temps for upper 40s to low 50s. Walleye bite was different but good, smallies were off the charts. Frank got another monster, this time on a jointed Depth Raider.

Posts: 20179 Location: oswego, il | We did well on suckers after we adjusted the rigs. The fish were tail grabbing and not moving. Only one fish dropped the sucker and ironically I caught it. I very slowly reeled the sucker to the boat and sure enough she ate it again right in front of me.
