Last weekend I ran accross some lures made by a company called Tsunami, they had some crankbaits and minnow lures that were what I would consider small muskie size-1.5oz. Has anybody tried these at all, and if so had any luck with them?

Also, how does the 6" Ernie and Jake lures do? Will the big ones still hit the smaller muskie lures?

There was a new surface bait from Luke at Holcombe Tackle, selling up at the Extreme Show, called a Tsunami,,,

I think it was the only model, mo cranks. Possibly a coincidence that another company is starting up with the same name as well??

6" Jakes and Ernies rule for cold front, or twitching.

OK, I picked up one called a Mega Crank, which can be seen here http://www.digitaldagger.com/freshwater/frtsunami.html I also bought one called a Cigar Minnow that was 1.5 oz that can be seen here http://www.digitaldagger.com/plugs/tsunami.html They're just pretty neat looking lures with a nice finish. Feel free to give me any input, I just thought they might make nice smaller muskie lures, and they were pretty easy on the wallet. I seen a review somewhere on the internet that said they were comparable to much more expensive lures.

By the way, I happened across them looking for a Bandit 500 series which is a real big bass crankbait. I had this idea because of tying into a pretty big muskie last year on one of the small Bandits and thought one of the big ones might be a pretty good ticket for muskie fishing. Anyway the Mega Crank is 1 1/8oz. and has one of the nicest finishes I've seen on a lure of this type.
