Location: Minneapolis,Minnesota | I only have room for one big battery in the front of my boat and I need a new one. The one I had was a cheaper one that the dealership put in. It would lose power fast running a smaller trolling motor.
What would you guys suggest for a single battery that will last the longest on a given day on the water?
I'm not looking for cheap but something that'll give me the most in a day of running my 50# 12v power drive.
Thanks.......

Location: oswego, il | Battery service corp makes a big marine battery. I forget the exact rating but I could not find another one like it. We fished a lake casting for 14 hours, went home, forgot to charge the battery, went back the next day and fished another 14. We never lost juice. They are in bensenville iliinois. Get their 411 and call them, they can tell you where you can get one if you cannot get one from them. Many marine dealers and tackle shops sell their batteries. |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | I like my Stowaways, got one from about '95 that still holds a charge. Otherwise maybe one of those spiral cell batteries. I have a spiral cell by Optima but badged as a Stowaway. It charges fast, and so far I have not run it down.. If you go with a regular Stowaway get the 800 or 850. |
