I purchased a few TI rod many years ago when they first hit the market and they have been a very nice rod for me.
I am currently looking at adding another rod to the catalog and I was wondering if anyone knows a couple of things:
1. Rod weight: I have looked all over without finding a chart showing the actual rod weight
2. Has the rod blank changed at all? I know they now have a Vexan line and I am concerned that the old blank perhaps has become the Vexan blank.

Since it’s tough to put my hands on one before purchasing, I thought it was best to reach out to the experts for some guidance.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

All the blanks have undergone improvements, check the website. Vexan blanks are different, they have inshore, bass, walleye, ice, etc. The weight is very comparable to many others out there. A new TI website is getting built soon.

I’ve built several MH and XH for myself and was pleasantly surprised how light in hand they are. Ratings are a little on the light side , they will handle about anything you want to throw save for pounders .
